This rare Grade 2 listed property is a substantial mid-17th century one-unit hall with a new house added to the upper gable in the 19th century. The original entrance is now inside the property, and a new external entrance was cut into the south wall. The property is constructed of whitened rubble stone with stone tiles and slates, and features a mix of original and later windows, doors, and architectural elements. The property is set within its own grounds in Tonyrefail and includes a farm range and outbuildings, including a cow house and barn. Although the interior was not accessible at the time of inspection, the property is said to retain original features such as reed-moulded ceiling joists and a winding wooden stair. The property is listed as a rare survival of a one-unit sub-medieval house, and the C19 house and farm range show few alterations.
